Valley Preschool is available for children ages 3 and 4. Valley Preschool provides an enriching
environment that fosters school readiness skills. Students are screened and assessed throughout
the year to identify their strengths and the skills they need to gain in preparation for kindergarten.
Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program is available for those who qualify.
Valley Preschool implements Creative Curriculum as its curriculum, which correlates well with the
Valley School curriculum and has great enrichment opportunities. Students will be assessed in the
curriculum areas listed below. This will help us identify your child’s strengths and the skills
they need to gain in preparation for kindergarten.

Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP)
Valley Preschool and ECEAP (pronounced E-Cap) are working in partnership to offer free preschool
to qualifying families. If your child is three, four or five and is too young for kindergarten AND
has one of these qualifying factors please call to find out more.

- Foster child
- Other family circumstances
ECEAP offers the following services:
- Quality preschool classroom emphasizing kindergarten readiness
- Meals and limited transportation provided
- Health and dental education
- Family support services
- Family goal-setting and referrals
- Developmental screenings, parent/teacher conferences
As an added service, free to parents, VELC provides morning and afternoon bus service.
